Ms. Patty

Owner

The owner of USA Karate Academy is Patty Haase, 3rd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Ms. Patty has trained with several Master Instructors both in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and brings an indepth knowledge of Child Development to the Dojo. Ms. Patty has a degree in Behavioral Psychology and is a Certified ADHD Coach working with children for the past 16 years helping them with the challenges of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Ms. Patty also works as a consultant with youth diagnosed with Aspergers Syndorme and Autism Spectrum Disorder and assists parents in preparing IEP’s in the school system for their children. Ms. Patty brings her experience with special needs children outside of the dojo into the school by offering martial arts classes to children of all ability levels. During the daytime hours Ms. Patty visits local schools and conducts assembly programs, karate classes, character education initiatives and bullying seminars for students. Ms. Patty enjoys working out with the other Instructors as her schedule allows, and strives for physical fitness by adding daily power walking and boxing to her workout.
